Held in collaboration with the historic Winchester College, the oldest independent school in the UK, Virtuoso International Music Academy will be running a 7 day residential course from August 3-9th 2025.

This picturesque location will be home to an intensive 7 day music course for enthusiastic vocalists aged 10-18 from across the globe. During the course students will work with our brilliant faculty led by Gareth Malone in a range of vocal activities through classical, close harmony, pop, as well as performing with the VIMA string orchestra.
As well as a packed schedule of music, in their free time during the week, students can make full use of Winchester College’s first class facilities from their new sports facilities and pool, tennis and football, to movie, quiz and talent nights.
The course culminates with a concert for family and friends in the stunning, acoustically redesigned concert hall in Winchester College.
Each student who completes the course will receive a video recording of the final concert and special Certificate of Excellence, validated by ESTA UK.
Places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Each student must submit the completed application form and be able to read music to around grade 5 standard in order to be able to enjoy and benefit from the course.
Course fees
The course fee for the 7 days is £2500. If you are travelling from abroad and wish to join us in London for 3 days before the course starts, to recover from your jet lag and take part in an exciting schedule exploring London and going to concerts and shows, then please email the office at info@vima.org.uk for more information.
